The service
Moon Trading is a simulation and an educational tool provided by MOON TECHNOLOGIES (company number [COMPANY NUMBER]). It involves no real money and no real securities. Balances, positions, prices and results are simulated and have no monetary value.
Not financial advice
Nothing in the app or on this site is financial advice, an inducement or invitation to engage in investment activity, or a personal recommendation about any investment. Scores describe how a simulated trade fits a simulated portfolio using published, mechanical criteria. Do not treat them as guidance about real investments. If you need advice about your own finances, speak to an adviser authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority.
MOON TECHNOLOGIES is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and does not carry on any regulated activity.
Your account
You must be 18 or over to use Moon Trading. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for what happens on your account. One account per person. You can delete your account at any time from the Account tab.
We may suspend or remove an account that abuses the service, attempts to manipulate the leaderboard, or uses an offensive username.
Market data
Prices and company information are provided for simulation only, on an end-of-day basis, and may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. They must not be relied on for any real investment decision.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change or withdraw features.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app, including any real investment decision you make. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
